Privacy Policy

PKL/OS, LLC (“PKL/OS,” “we,” “us”) operates the pklos.com website and the PKL/OS training platform (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@pklos.com.

What we collect

Account information: your email address, password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider), display name, and the training profile you give us during onboarding, such as your level, goals, and how often you play. Content you upload: video clips of your play, match details, questions, posts, and replies in the Club, and your weekly check-ins. Payment information: processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Usage information: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, and IP address, collected through privacy-respecting analytics and error monitoring so we can keep the Service fast and working.

How we use it

To run the Service: your uploads are analyzed, including with artificial intelligence models, to produce the coaching reads, progress tracking, and training plans that are the product. To operate billing through Stripe. To show your display name and activity to other members where the Service is social by design, such as the Club and leaderboards. To send transactional email like sign-in confirmations. To improve the Service using aggregate usage patterns. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your video uploads for advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers who run infrastructure for us: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI analysis of your clips), Mux (video streaming for our coaching library), and Sentry (error monitoring). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PKL/OS and its members.

Your video stays yours

Clips you upload for analysis are private to your account and the coaches you work with through the Service. They are stored securely and are not shared with other members unless you choose to share them, for example by submitting film for a public breakdown.

Your choices and rights

You can update your profile in the app, and you can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing hello@pklos.com; we will act on verified requests within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR, and we honor those requests.

Data retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security, and payment credentials never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we would want ours treated.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update this page and note the new effective date, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email.
